Steps to reproduce:

Using FF 40.0.2.5702
All addons removed

Specs:
2.5 GHz Core i7-4710HQ
16 GB DDR3
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970M with 3GB GDDR5

Visit PoC.html that contains ~50 nested SVGs


Actual results:

Firefox freezes, as of writing this report its been ~40mins and still its frozen.


Expected results:

given that firefox renders other tags if nested 50 times, I would say the result should be that FF renders all the nested svgs.

[violet.bugreport]

bug 743636 is actually more subtle, it's essentially caused by nested <use> elements. This one has been fixed by the patch in bug 1346610.
