User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64; rv:40.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/40.0 Build ID: 20150812163655 Steps to reproduce: Yesterday I updated Firefox optimized for Windows 10. This morning I logged into Zyngagames.com/farmville2. Actual results: Now the page just freezes, it will not complete loading the game, just sits there on the splash screen. Prior to the new Firefox update last night I did not have any problems with playing the game on Firefox. As a matter of fact, Firefox was the only browser that didn't keep crashing or freezing. I updated my PC to windows 10 about a week ago and had no issues with Firefox at all until now. Expected results: The page should've loaded and allowed me to play the game.

(In reply to Cindi from comment #0) > Yesterday I updated Firefox optimized for Windows 10. "optimized for Windows 10"? What is that exactly / what does that mean? Please elaborate. > Firefox was the only browser that didn't keep crashing or freezing. That sounds more like general problems with your computer than a Firefox problem... Also, please follow the steps on http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Firefox%20crashes and report back here. Thanks!

First, thx for responding...I did go to the link you supplied above and tried a couple of the fixes that I though applied; e.g. Firefox hangs up and doesn't respond. I also checked my Adobe Flash plugin and updated that as well. The "optimized for Windows 10" was the message I received when the Update Firefox pop up told me to update Firefox. Up until this point, as I previously stated I haven't had any problems with Firefox. What I meant when I stated that Firefox was the only browser that didn't keep crashing or freezing is that when a user plays a Zynga game and they use Internet Explorer, Pale Moon or various other browsers the games freeze and the browser hangs up or the flash player crashes. This is def a Zynga issue. When I sent a help ticket to them, they are the ones that said to try playing on a different browser (at the time I was using Internet Explorer on a totally different PC). At that point I started using Pale Moon and for a long time didn't have any probs with the games. When that browser started having problems Zynga indicated that the games were created to play best on Firefox or Google Chrome. Not a big fan of Google Chrome so I started using Firefox. It was at this point I got a new PC with a quad core 4G processor, 4G RAM & 1T of memory. So I really don't believe it is my PC. Also, I am PC savvy and have been a program coder for abt 15 yrs, so I'm not a newbie, lol. As I said previously, I upgraded to Windows 10 abt a wk ago and have not had any issues with Firefox or playing Zynga games. Then last night I rec'd the pop up advising me that Firefox had an update, so I updated it then shut down my PC. This morning when I opened Firefox I started having the issues with the game "hanging up" or not fully loading. Since the fixes on the page from the link didn't seem to resolve the issue, I decided to restore my PC back to 8/16/15 prior to the Firefox update and am now able to play Zynga games again. However, Firefox is again asking me to update...Also, I noticed that Zynga now has a msg on their site advising everyone if they are not able to play the games on Firefox to try using Google Chrome. I did try that and that was another nightmare all in itself, lol...so that is not an option for me...as I said, I'm not a big Google fan. :) Since they have that msg on their site, that kind of tells me that maybe I'm not the only one having the problem, but maybe am the only person who has thought to submit a bug rpt to Firefox. I apologize for the lengthy response, but want to try to give you as much info as possible. Hopefully, you'll be able to fix this for me and I really appreciate anything you can do or any advice you can give me. Thanks....Cindi

It's a known issue. Set dom.ipc.plugins.asyncInit=false in about:config (restart) as workaround.
