Description: If user goes to youtube.com on browser to watch a video, tap on the share icon below video to share video link, and selecting SMS - user will observe SMS app is opened and then immediately closes and takes user back to youtube. This is a little similar to bug 1192703, BUT there is a difference - Messages app is NOT in the background when bug happens. It simply gets killed. STR: 1) Open browser and go to youtube.com 2) Tap into any video 3) Tap on the share icon below video, and select SMS Expected: Message app is launched prefilled with information on the video Actual: Messages app is launched and then immediately closes out. Video demonstrating the issue: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K2jGPMcZLpo Repro rate: 5/5 Note: Selecting 'email' at step 3, bug 1192703 happens. I've not tested all available options on this dialog. This issue does not occur on Flame 2.2. Messages app is launched with a new message filled with video information. This bug seems to be a duplicate of bug 1195222, which also has a completed regression window.
It's a bit complicated. I'll investigate both windows on bug 1195222 and bug 1192703 and see which bug to dupe to.
