This is an RFE, not a bug.

I would like the ability to filter mail messages based on size (Content-Length),
specifically a numeric comparison against some byte length.

Scenario: I connect to an IMAP server to get new mail, but cannot stay connected
to it for long. A certain category of messages (e.g. CVS change reports) I would
like to download to my local folders for perusing later. I can set up a mail
filter to download them all. However once in a while someone makes a huge CVS
commit and produces a 2 MB diff message. I don't want to download it all, I want
to delete it on the server. (Cancelling an in-progress download of filtered mail
messages is messy: you get duplicated messages etc.) So I would like to adjust
the filter to select any CVS commit messages less than say 100KB.

This does not appear to be possible currently. I can add a custom header
Content-Length, but all the comparison criteria appear to be string-oriented,
not numeric (less-than, greater-than). It would suffice to just add numeric
comparisons to the list. But I think a predefined message attribute "Size" in
the filter list mapping to Content-Length would also be helpful (people not
familiar with the RFC would not know which header to use).

Please learn to query for bugs.  There is an old bug with almost the exact
summary of the bug you entered.  You can query by just entering some terms in
