STR:
1. Open a youtube video
2. Right click on the video to check the HTML5 player
3. Seek forward the video at the half of time
4. Right click on the video
Actual results:
Flash Player enabled.
Video jumps at the end after seeking forward.
Reproduced on FF 41b1, 41b3 Ubuntu 13.04 x86.
Works fine on FF 40.0.2.

Got the same result with 41.0b3 under Windows 10 x32 - youtube switches from HTML5 to Flash, but *only* with 4k videos and after changing the speed; for 2 times (out of ~7) I got a hang & an Unresponsive script Window, but the video continued to play right away.
Browser console output:
'Media resource mediasource:https://www.youtube.com/913b8aea-ebe7-4a75-b51d-c1788705886e could not be decoded.'

Can you post the content "Stats for nerds" as it show when you right click on the video?
Alexandra, very likely not the same. On windows you would be using mediasource ; on linux it's plain MP4, and this is likely the sameas bug 1180214. Which will be uplifted.

Ok.. so it's definitely not the same as the bug Alexandra noticed in comment 1.
Can you reproduce it in Nightly?
if not, this is a duplicate of bug 1180214

Indeed, doesn't reproduce on nightly 43.0a1 (2015-08-21).
