User Story
As a developer I would like to parse basic text and JSON payloads for protocol upgraded websocket connections without having to install a protocol parser. This should be applicable to all text-based protocols such as STOMP, AMQP, Socket.IO for example. We should be able to parse JSON and text payloads without having to install a protocol parser as outlined in Bug 1197900. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1197900
