Went to https://mobile.twitter.com/jayrosen_nyu

Clicked on link to a website from that feed.

Firefox for iOS tries to go to https://mobile.twitter.com/jayrosen_nyuhttp://t.co/...

Doesn't happen if I click on the specific tweet and click the link from there, or if I go back and try again.

Running in the simulator. Build from this morning's checkout, commit a139c3a818fd.

Simulator is running iOS 8.4 (12H141). Roland has reproduced with a real device under iOS 9 beta.
yes, ralph is correct!
i have reproduced this problem on an ipod touch 5th generation running ios 9 beta 3 using firefox for ios build 37
this bug also happens on chrome for ios and safari for ios and firefox os so i don't think this is a firefox for ios bug, changing to webcompat

Summary: link concatentates current and target urls → twitter: link concatentates current and target urls
Bizarre. Doesn't repro for me on my iPod touch or simulator. https://cloudup.com/cbss_QhHoAq

Possibly hitting different t.co servers?
I can reproduce on desktop Chrome, (e.g, https://mobile.twitter.com/Bungie and clicking any shared URL).

Script: https://ma.twimg.com/twitter-mobile/ba904dd37f55c4a98f7f5afc79d5449cd7123bc8/assets/m5.js

HTML:

<a href="http://t.co/LMmWoBi2E0" class="twitter-timeline-link activeLink dir-ltr tco-link" data-url="http://www.twitch.tv/bungie" dir="ltr" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">twitch.tv/bungie</a>

There's some location.href change code in that script for someone to dig through :)
Current theory is that they're rolling out their new site and somehow broke the new one. Let's give this a day to let Twitter sort this out.
s/broke the new/broke the old one/.
Worked everywhere I tested it now (could not test on Fx iOS though so please reopen if it still happens there)
