Sometimes starting a conversation isn't possible (the button to start a conversation isn't clickable). There's no clear indication why it's happening, so it's very frustrating for users.
needs some investigation/breakdown. mark has some ideas on possible issues and may have bugs already.

There's likely a few issues here. Bug 1194622 should have helped a bit, as that is providing an indication for when Hello is loading, bug 1207300 has fixed a case where if FF has started in offline mode, then even when it connects it never allows the user to do anything. We've now also got bug 1210501 to improve the offline/error state notifications to the user should things go wrong. Hence I'm going to mark this as a duplicate of that last bug and we'll track further progress there.
