When I open a new tab with CTRL-T the page is blank
rather than showing my home page. This should *at least*
be an option, if not the default option -- blank pages
make no sense.

i'd argue that you have very little reason to want 20 tabs containing your homepage. but then given that my homepage is a randomizer, i'd lose that argument.
