Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:0.9.4) Gecko/20011128 Netscape6/6.2.1 BuildID: Netscape 6.2,and Moz build 201122106 Imagine the following situation: I have Mozilla running at home and I'm using it to send my mail via smtp. My computer's connected to the net via ADSL, my smtp and imap servers are behind the ADSL line. When I send a mail it is first copied to the smtp server - I see a nice progress bar showing me how much of it has been copied. It then is copied to the sent folder on my imap server. Here the progress bar doesn't show me how much there still is to be copied, even though both tasks take the same time. I would like a second progress bar there showing me the percentage of the upload to the server. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Send a mail with a large attachement and choose that it should be copied to the sent folder on your imap server 2. wait till the actual sending is over and the copying to the send folder starts 3. watch the 'progress bar' that doesn't show any progress. Actual Results: the progress bar looked like ///// ///// ///// ///// with moving ///// Expected Results: I would have expected something like 50% done... and an according progress par. This is no bug, but it would be a nice feature. Implement it in Mozilla 1.something, and focus on the really important things for now. Thanks for your work!

Is this still present in 1.1 or later? If so, is it a dupe of bug 80877? pi
So it is probably a dupe. pi *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 80877 ***
