User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:40.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/40.0 Build ID: 20150827082734 Steps to reproduce: When run running a flash video the screen whites out and the browser sometimes crashes when switching between tabs or minimizing then maximizing the browser. This is a recent glitch as a result of Bug 1194780 and forced use of plugin-container.exe. That process had previously been disabled so I'm unaware of when exactly the glitch first appeared. However, on 38ESR running plugin-container with Flash I do not experience similar problems. A youtube screenshot after switching tabs with a running flash video with the latest version NPSWF32_18_0_0_232.dll using a new profile, no addons and HTLM5 disabled: http://postimg.org/image/5ca1dnci7/ This occurs on all sites that still utilize Flash such as Daily Motion in Windows 7 and XP. Occasionally you may need to switch tabs back and forth several times before noticing it.

That sounds like a driver-related issue, can you provide information about your hardware type and graphics driver version?

(In reply to Eric Ziegenhorn :ericz from comment #1) > That sounds like a driver-related issue, can you provide information about > your hardware type and graphics driver version? The video card is an ATI Radeon 4670 with the latest legacy drivers 13.9 - v8.970.100.1100. This was fine until Bug 1194780 landed and plugin-container.exe was forced with flash videos. Some systems obviously need the flexibility to disable OOPP, at least for the time being.

Today's build does not have this problem anymore so at least for my setup I'll consider the bug resolved. If it re-appears in future builds I'll add additional comments.
