The rocketbar is meant to be visible on the homescreen (except verticalhome, which has an exception). This was fixed by bug 1053747 and has regressed some time in the last day.
[Blocking Requested - why for this release]: Core functionality broken (no rocketbar on homescreen) Requesting blocking because I'm not sure that I'll get to this today and it should probably be dealt with soon if people are testing the new homescreen. Let's get a regression window too. STR: 1- Switch homescreen to 'New Home Screen' 2- Press home button Expected: Rocketbar visible at the top of the screen Actual: No rocketbar
