Hello -- 

This week, Mike Han briefed us on a testing exercise he'd like to pursue in September 2015. It will involve simple copy and visual testing for iOS, so that we can better understand what creative is likely to be successful in prompting user action in advance of the NMIT.

We're hoping that Creative can help concept and design the visuals to test against the copy that we're developing.

Setting NI for Ty. 

I think the request for screenshots pushed these designs back a little bit. I believe we should be able to reuse graphics for the logo graphics.

Hi team -- what is an updated estimated delivery date? We had hoped to get the messages and visuals up last week for testing. We need to run them as soon as possible, so that we have time to adequately analyze the results before we start iOS content development for the Fall campaign (which will be very early October).

Let me know when we can expect them!

Hey Ty,

This may be an opportunity to also experiment with a larger icon such as 50X50 or 64X64. I know it's been a struggle to come up with 40x50. Hoping that will help with the creation of assets for the snippet. Would love to have a special icon for iOS instead of using just the Firefox logo. Think it'd be weird to see the large Firefox logo and the smaller one on the same screen. Let me know what you think. Thanks!

Hi all - 

Sorry, I didn't realize the Facebook 20% text rule wasn't mentioned in the original request! In order for us to advertise with an image on Facebook, it has to have less than 20% text according to this tool - https://www.facebook.com/ads/tools/text_overlay 

Is there any way you can adjust the copy on these to fit within that parameter? No adjustments need to be made for Twitter, they're great.

I unfortunately dont have access to the tool as it requires a Facebook account.
Ill reach out to Arcadio to discuss an alternate option.

Thanks Jean. 64x64 would help out considerably. I have been toying with some ideas and might have to consider the device with the FFx Logo on the screen, or something similar to the attached image.

Yes! That with transparent background or a phone with the logo inside. Feel free to go bigger (I experimented with a 96 x 96 logo and it looks okay).
