When a user long-presses on the URL bar, they currently see a couple of options like "Copy address" and "Add to Home Screen". They will also see "Paste" and "Paste & Go" if they have something on their clipboard. It seems like this would be a good place to add an item for "Set as Homepage" to give users an easier way to set a Homepage if we want to give this feature more visibility.
Kar, I'm unsure what the product requirements are here. But it really depends on how much attention we want to give this feature. But, seeing "Add to Home Screen" there also makes me wonder. That being said, I'm also OK with not adding too many options/decisions for our user to make.

I understand the concept, although am certainly a little worried about all the possible options. I think 'add to homescreen' makes sense, and it certainly would be easier to 'set as homepage'. BUT what if the user hasn't even determined they want a home page and doesn't know what this refers to? Maybe we keep this in our back pocket for now to keep the feature introduction simpler, since most likely, a user would only set the home screen once in a blue moon.

Works for me. Martyn, note this would probably not block our "V1"

OK - I'll leave this out for the time being

I think "Set as Homepage" and "Add to Home Screen" would be more than a little confusing. I'd like to WONTFIX this bug.
