Details

From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; SunOS i86pc; en-US; rv:0.9.7) Gecko/20011222
BuildID: 2001122311

After changing my mail server settings and clicking okay, mozilla goes into a
race condition. If you run top after this you see that the mozilla-bin process
is taking up 80+% of the cpu. Mozilla hangs the only thing you can do is
manually kill the mozilla-bin process.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open up a mail window
2.Edit Mail&NewsGroups Acocunt Settings
3.Make changes
4.Click okay

Actual Results: Mozilla stalls out and none of the windows respond.

Expected Results: Exited the edit window and allowed me to access the new mail
server.

I am running Solaris8 with Gnome1.4 and KDE2.? installed.

Rich, could you see if this still happens on a recent version of Mozilla? Works
for me with Sparc Solaris nightly build 2002051322.
