Adjust tab dimensions in new tabs tray for Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini
I tend to agree with the sentiment that especially in portrait mode, the reduced amount of title text being shown is somewhat suboptimal. Landscape mode is no big change from the previous layout, although maybe the tabs could be slightly larger as well? As Screen Info doesn't know my phone, I've measured its screen size myself: 8.6 × 5.2 cm
JanH: Thanks for this - what OS version are you running?
JanH: can you try this APK https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/7163922/Work/1202737.apk and tell me if that looks better on your device?
Portrait mode looks better now, thanks. In landscape mode to be honest I actually prefer the previous layout, maybe with the horizontal spacing only slightly increased (see attachement), but it's your call - I see the mockups in Antlam's presentation are using the wide spacing as well.
antlam: thoughts on landscape mode here? in general we've mostly been concentrating on portrait mode - we should have a think about landscape too

Are we talking about increasing the padding in between each column here? The left and right paddings in landscape (in the screenshot) do look a bit larger than expected.
I haven't followed this really closely, but the current tabs tray layout now looks okay to me.
