<p>Using 2002011508. The Aqua widgets are nice, but I argue that simply putting functional buttons (Mozilla and search buttons, for example) in water droplets is not in keeping with the Aqua UI.</p> <p>Buttons on the browser button bar should, rather, be colourful, big, 3-d pictures on a flat background. Have a look at Omniweb, it has one of the few pure Aqua UIs. "Porting" these buttons from Platinum would consist in getting rid of the mouseover state, making the active state a simple darkening of the image, and possibly increasing the size and colour depth of the existing icons.</p>
The reporter is correct; none of the build 2002012808 classic theme navigation toolbar widgets strictly follow Aqua UI. 'Search' button and Mozilla throbber are not shaped correctly and should be bevel buttons per: http://developer.apple.com/techpubs/macosx/Essentials/AquaHIGuidelines/AHIGControls/Bevel_Buttons.html 'Back,' 'Forward,' 'Reload,' 'Stop,' and 'Print' should be pop-up buttons (beveled to match search and throbber) per: http://developer.apple.com/techpubs/macosx/Essentials/AquaHIGuidelines/AHIGControls/Pop_Up_Icon_vel_Buttons.html Recommend all buttons in toolbar be consistent size, shape using Aqua HIG/Interface Builder design. Currently displayed as three different designs and does not look polished or unified.
This is really a Mac classic skin design issue. We've talked about getting better icons for the Mac classic skin.

This means that it was logged against the old Mozilla suite and we cannot determine that it's still valid for the current SeaMonkey suite. Because of this, we are setting it to an UNCONFIRMED state. If you can confirm that this report still applies to current SeaMonkey 2.x nightly builds, please set it back to the NEW state along with a comment on how you reproduced it on what Build ID, or if it's an enhancement request, why it's still worth implementing and in what way.
