RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 1182046

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.10; rv:40.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/40.0
Build ID: 20150826023504

Steps to reproduce:

Open RSS Latest Headlines for the first time after starting FireFox or when the RSS updates then the indication of previous viewing of a link is lost. Once that has happened then the indications return to normal when next viewing the list until the next RSS update at which time the indications are lost again. If I close the list the reopen the list the indications return as normal.

Actual results:

Lost the visited indication on RSS Latest Headlines list at the first invocation of the list or after any later update of the RSS list contents. Closing and reopening the list brings back the correct indications which remain until the next update of the list.

Expected results:

The RSS list Latest Headlines, and I suspect all other RSS feeds, should retain the "visited" status regardless of updates to the RSS listing.

It appears to be a display issue as FireFox actually does know the links have been visited, but just doesn't display the status initially after an update.
