Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:0.9.7) Gecko/20011226 BuildID: 2001122617 File->Save email does not change extension. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Click File->Save as->File 2.Default is eml, so select txt 3.leave the file name as message.eml Actual Results: email will not be saved as txt as selected, it will be saved as eml format, with the message.eml filename. txt format is more brief than the eml format Expected Results: selecting txt from the menu should change filename to message.txt (or even better the a name made from the email senders email address) Also the format that the message is being saved as should be determined by the menu item selected (default eml) not by the file extension, eg I might want to save an email as eml, so i select EML from the menu, but i type message.txt so i can read with out making another extension association, but it saves in the cut down txt brief fomat. Disregarding the eml format i selected from the File save menu. Rather odd bug, but not very user friendly IMO, so i have set it as a normal bug...
