GKCONTNT.DLL 0001:00129e1d

<vent anger>
... I've been trying out your daily builds once a week for the past few months
now.. Not only have builds gotten worse and worse (old functionality no longer
works) but now I can't even use Mozilla for over 2 minutes without it turning
Zombie and taking down my entire system. I'm *very* close to dropping the ball
on Mozilla altogether unless you guys fix this mess. Just because Mozilla
crashes on a certain DLL shouldn't cause it to go zombie. You should fix your
exception-handling mecanism and shut down properly in case of an error.
</vent anger>

Reproducible: Didn't try
1. You are using a nightly build and you can loose all your profile data/mails...
   with a nightly build because nightly builds are only test builds.
2. We can't fix this bug without steps to reproduce (URL...) or a stack trace.
   It's easier on other platforms because we have talkback (to generate a stack
   trace)
3. Mozilla can't take down a good system (win9x and Mac sucks/Unix, Linux,MacOSX,
   WinNT/2k/XP and OS/2 are stable and mozilla should not be able do take down
   your system because Mozilla doesn't install I/O drivers)

marking invalid

Please reopen if you can provide more informations

Thanks !

1. I am using a fresh profile on every build.
2. I provided you with a URL (above). What do you mean by a talkback?
3. Mozilla can very much take down an entire system. For example, what happens
under OS/2 is that Mozilla turns into a Zombie process and (somehow) hangs WPS..
With WPS hanging it doesn't matter that all the applications are running
smoothly in the background if you can't interface with the desktop. You're
basically forced to reboot. This is most likely Mozilla triggering a bug in
OS/2's DLLs, but I'd love for someone to track down the problem and report it to
IBM. I don't have the technical capability to do so at this time.

Resolution: INVALID → ---
1. You don't need a new profile on every build but it can happen that you loose
data (I backup my profile every 3 days but I never lost my original profile)
2. We have talkback on MacOS,WIN32 and Linux. Talkback can generate a stack
trace but it's an commercial add-on and there is no OS/2 version
3. I remember an old WPS design problem where an application can fill a WPS
queue and hang the WPS.

4. This URL is Worksforme with win2k build 20020117..
