Reproduced on Windows 10 64-bit and Ubuntu 14.04 32-bit with:
* 42.0 beta 1
* latest 43.0a2 Aurora
* latest 44.0a1 Nightly

STR:
1. Open Firefox.
2. Navigate to any website (eg.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page).
3. Click on the site identity panel.
4. Click on the ">" button.

Results:
The selection rectangle remains displayed.

Notes:
* This issue is not reproducible on Windows 7 64-bit nor Mac OS X 10.9.5

That's the case when the user adds the website to the pop-up exceptions e.g. (or any other permission)

STR:
1) Add https://www.mozilla.org/ to pop-up exceptions
2) Open https://www.mozilla.org/
3) Click on the ">" to display the subview panel

Result: a part of the drop-down list of the Permissions is still visible.
