Steps to reproduce:

I use Firefox 41 on Windows 8.1.
I went to some Web pages having steaming medias.
Ex : http://www.telerama.fr/musique/a-ecouter-emilie-simon-privee-d-ordinateurs,124961.php
http://www.deezer.com/album/7551547 (after the first song).


Actual results:

After a few time, firefox freezes.
It is necessary kill the Firofox task in the Windows task manager.


Expected results:

Firefox should read the medias without any trouble.

No, I have never got this trouble before I upgraded to the 41.
Hi Xavier,

I suspect this is one of the two hangs (which are very similar) from bug 1207766 or bug 1209235.
They seem to have been masked (at least partially) when Fx41 was in Beta.

Would you mind testing in current Beta (Fx42) with the following pref set (in about:config):

dom.ipc.plugins.asyncInit=false

We think they are now fixed by another change and we are looking into uplifting that fix.

I have Installed Firefox 42.0b2. The browser did not hanged any more. 
The first time what the bug occured, the network was very slow. I think that it would be usefull to check to read some streaming medias in this particular condition.

OK, I'm fairly sure that this hang was related to the other ones.
This is now fixed in release version 41.0.1.

If you get a problem again, please reopen.
