There are actually several related problems I'm experiencing here. (Sorry!)

Firstly, when saving a file from the browser, it takes an eternity for the "Save
as..." dialogue box to appear.
Second, it does not remember the location of the last file I saved, but instead
show me either the moz programme folder if I'm trying to save an html file, or
I'm shown the "My Documents" folder if I'm trying to save an image.
Third, for hmtl files, the dialogue defaults to saving all embedded images etc
as well as the page - I'd prefer it to default to page only. (I see that this is
already a known bug)
Fourthly (and also already known to Bugzilla), when saving files, mozilla
downloads a second copy instead of using its own cache. This is increasingly
annoying, and not necessary.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. load a web page, with at least one image in it.
2. save the page (or the image) to your HD.

Actual Results: Save dialogue takes about 1 minute to appear (no hourglass
cursor or anything else to indicate the machine was thinking).
Location shown in save dialogue is not the previously used location, but the moz
programme directory (or "My Docs" if it's the image I'm saving)
Moz then downloads a new copy of the file instead of using its cached copy.

Expected Results: Save dialogue appears immediately.
Location shown in dialogue is that of the last file I saved.
Fiel saves from cached version, if there is one (and it's complete - I
understand moz downloading a file to save if the cached version is not complete,
e.g. if download was interrupted).

I did not observe any of these problems with Moz 0.9.6; they all appear to be
new with 0.9.7.

I tried re-installing this version of moz, but it's made no difference.

I'm reporting this because I couldn't find it in Bugzilla; apologies if it's a
duplicate!
