no cursor in first form field but entry is allowed (google advanced search page)

The cursor does not show in the first field, and does not display even if the
field is mouse-clicked.  If text is entered, it displays and the form works.  If
the next field is clicked, then the cursor will show if I shift-tab to return to
the first.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.load page
2.look for cursor
3.

Actual Results:  no cursor

Expected Results:  shown cursor in default field
