RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 1187005

People

(Reporter: hayes.gr, Unassigned)

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:43.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/43.0
Build ID: 20150928004020

Steps to reproduce:

FireFox Updated. I didn't do squat! Both are 64bit HAd both normal borwser and developer on system. Both previously worked.

Actual results:

Since update of Firefox Java no longer works in the browser at all. I have done more than a dozen reinstall tried every suggestion on oracle and java.com

Expected results:

What should have happened is your people shouldn't have screwed up the security update to this point. You should have put an option in regarding the weak ssl keys.
Then when I get that fixed on one server. I find I can no longer use Java in browser either. This is on par with google's stupidity of not allowing java. I got rid of chrome. Guess time for firefox to go also. Hell maybe I will just put out a branch of it that doesn't do this stupidity.
