:: Developer Documentation Request Request Type: Correction Gecko Version: unspecified Technical Contact: :: Details DOM Events, in the sidebar, should include "change" as an event, linking to https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/Events/change There are other pages missing "change" in the sidebar as well, such as https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/EventTarget/addEventListener
Context: change Strictly speaking, change is part of the HTML DOM, the specific DOM for HTML (like there is a SVG DOM, specific DOM for SVG). For the moment, we draw the limit by where the specs put it: we put under DOM Events, events defined in a DOM-related spec. We put under HTML-DOM, events related to the numerous HTML APIs and defined in an HTML spec. This distinction is a bit arbitrary though. I'm afraid of having all the events of all the APIs sneaking it, the sidebars would become unusable.
Ooops, clicked too early. I meant: Context: change raised by form-related elements.
