Testcase showing table inside table does not center.

there may be an even simpler testcase (align="*" dies when valign="*", maybe?)
but the align="center" in the <td> in the main table for this site is blown away
by the valign="middle".

i have tested this only on linux, although my bet is it affects all operating
systems... this may not be true.
