Arrgh! I hit enter by mistake in the summary field and it submits the bug report :(

Anyway, here goes...

Build ID: 2002011703 - WinXP

Steps to reproduce:
1) Open a chatzilla window
2) Connect to ircnet e.g. irc://ircnet.demon.co.uk/
3) Ask someone to /msg you

Expected results:
1) Message shows up either in an existing tab or a query tab

Actual result:
1) No indication the message has arrived.

Notes:
1) I've only tested this on IRCnet
2) If you've already opened a query window to this person then private messages
will work fine.

By the definitions on <http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/bug_status.html#severity> and
<http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/enter_bug.cgi?format=guided>, crashing and dataloss
bugs are of critical or possibly higher severity.  Only changing open bugs to
minimize unnecessary spam.  Keywords to trigger this would be crash, topcrash,
topcrash+, zt4newcrash, dataloss.

This also works for me, using ChatZilla 0.8.24 w/ Mozilla 1.3 (Mozilla/5.0
(Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030312).
