From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux alpha; en-US; rv:0.9.7) Gecko/20011226 BuildID: 2001122617 Trying to use Vanguards web site to login (from URL: http://personal.vanguard.com/ to the URL above via log on button), it stops with a popup alert box that says unknown socket type: loading aborted with an OK button. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. go to http://personal.vanguard.com/ 2. poke log on button (top banner) 3. see error Actual Results: alert box with message saying "unknown socket type" Expected Results: Present page with userid and password (a page like: https://flagship3.vanguard.com/VGApp/hnw/MyHome)
Yes it means install PSM. get it in the mozilla-psm package if you installed via RPM, otherwise make sure you don't uncheck it during install. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 47617 ***
