1. a user sees a notification and clicks on gear or ellipses and selects disable notifications for this site.

actual: notifications persist or display for ~4 sec on win/lnx. Mac are set as banner by default and should fade out.

expected: selecting disable to close all from the domain, as an intent from the user

options:
A: do nothing as many go away after a short duration.  (No eng work)

B: close all (less eng work)

C: close only the notifications from that domain (large amount of eng work)

bill can you drive the decision here.  I believe for Fx44 it's option A but this is dependent on persistence of notification.

CCing Bryan; this might be fodder for front-end work in Q3. It's more of an issue for Windows, where notifications remain on the screen for 20 seconds, and clicking "Disable notifications from site.com" doesn't remove the existing ones.
