Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:41.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/41.0 Build ID: 20150918100310 Steps to reproduce: Have remote calendars (I think caldav?) and a failing network connection. Actual results: Lightning disabled the remote calendars and puts them on readonly. Expected results: Not to disable the calendars or put them on read-only. made switch thunderbird to offline instead. But returning to the old state should not take action(s) for every calender. With multiple calenders this gets really annoying quick.
This event also happens without error, so events get hidden without warning (caused me to miss some appointments make some double bookings).

This issue should be fixed in Lightning 4.0.2.1 that was released September 16, 2015. Please update and retest.
I can confirm this bug in 4.0.2, both Linux and Windows, for CalDAV calendars hosted on ownCloud. Now I have upgraded to 4.0.3, let's see if it's gone. I will report back.
During the week since my last comment, no more issues of this type have been experienced by our users after upgrade to 4.0.3, on both Linux and Windows. So the update indeed fixes this bug. Could anyone please update the status of this bug and set it to RESOLVED?
