Details

Steps to reproduce: 1. Go to https://people.mozilla.org/~ewong2/push-notification-test/ 2. Click on the [pop Notification] button to display a notification. 3. Hover over the notification. 4. Click the [...] button. 5. Hover over one of the sub-menu items ("Disable notifications from this site" or "Notification settings"). Actual results: The notification disappears as you're trying to read the menu options. Expected results: The notification should remain visible if you're hovering over the submenu as well as the notification itself (instead of just the notification).
Hi guys; can you give me the specifics of the platform where you found this issue? I could not reproduce on Windows 10 or Ubuntu 14.04 with Nightly 45.0a1 Build ID 20151111030207
Since step 4 mentions [...], this is referring to OS X. I noticed this during development too but I don't think there is anything we can do about it other than reporting this to Apple and hope they fix this in a future version (though that may be unlikely since we're using private APIs). We can keep this open to investigate if there is some private API to make this work and a developer should report this to apple via https://bugreport.apple.com/ with technical information. I think they don't expect the dropdown to appear with "banners".
