Details

1. Go to accounts.firefox.com and sign in with a valid account 2. Go to accounts.firefox.com/settings/change_password Result: The 'Old password' input field is pre-filed with your current password
accounts.firefox.com/settings/delete_password shows also your password pre-filled
This content is provided by fxa-content-server so I raised it as an issue over in that repo on github: https://github.com/mozilla/fxa-content-server/issues/3161
Is this even a bug? In general, we want to support password managers (including our own!) across the web. In any case, I'd prefer to have the fxa-content-server do whatever it thinks is correct, and not special case Fennec's handling. That's what we did before: we left Fennec (and Desktop) offer to save the password.

I have the password manager disabled and am unable to reproduce the behavior mentioned here against either accounts.firefox.com or the local development environment. When I use a fresh profile with the password manager enabled, the "old password" is pre-filled. As :nalexander mentions, I believe this is the expected behavior with the password manager enabled. :rfk what do you think?

Agreed, let's not fight the password-manager on this one.
