Please land it on 2.2R.
Also, can you please tell what broke 2.2 as well?

oh i think releng added java to flame-kk builds so this broke then 2.2 and 2.2r and in order to unbreak 2.2 we need to uplift this (catlee i think thats right or ?

catlee seems 2.2. and 2.2r have problems to find updates now - https://treeherder.mozilla.org/logviewer.html#?job_id=172146&repo=mozilla-b2g37_v2_2 is this known or does this need another fix ?

Do we need FOTA on flame for 2.2/2.2r? Or is OTA still sufficient?

s/joe/josh of course
so 2.5 bloated to the point where we cannot OTA normally due to a bunch of changes / additions (such as vaani in gecko and the RTL in gaia). That is why we switched over to FOTA as more or less out of necessity.
2.2 should be good with OTA on the flame device and we should not have to move to FOTA for 2.2 nor 2.2r.
To note : flame devices will not be using 2.2r.

Agree with Nzoki and also notify Wesley EPM of 2.2r.

I think I was mistaken. Flame 2.2r builds are being made. In any cases, we should be fine with just OTA with 2.2r as well.
