Hi Rex,
Please also take a look at this.
This bug is the follow-up work of bug 1212407 and is to provide a pairing client-side page. I can tell you more details face to face.
Note that the remote-control-client app is not developed for Gaia but for client-side browsers so you can only test it via HTTP server. Due to compatibility issue, I cannot use any of the ES6 features in this patch and you will see lots of compatibility-workaround code in it.
