Pop-ups are annoying.  Disabling javascript sometimes helps but then many sites
rely on javascript for their content.  This is good for advertisers, since you
kind of get forced to see the pop-ups.  But having the pop-up windows in a
tabbed window allows people to avoid having to look at them.  This is a great
idea, so I always check it.  But I still get the pop-up windows.


Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Check "Windows opened by the web page" in Tabbed Browsing
2.Visit web site with pop-up windows
3.

Actual Results:  Windows still pop up

Expected Results:  Windows should have become tabbed and not separate windows

This has never worked for me.
Win98 0.9.7+ (nightly build from 1-2 weeks ago)
also Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:0.9.7+) Gecko/20020123

better component is probably "Tabbed Browser" (and assignment to component owner)
