Steps to reproduce:
1) Install Chrome
2) Open Preferences
3) Under Startup, check that it says; "Firefox is currently your default browser".
4) Create a shell file with "x-www-browser 'http://mozilla.org/'"
5) Make the shell file executable (chmod +x)
6) Execute the shell file
Actual results:
http://mozilla.org/ opens up in Chrome
Expected results:
http://mozilla.org/ should have opened in Firefox

Hi,
I can't reproduce this bug on Ubuntu 14.04 with the latest Nightly 44.0a1 (2015-10-27)
Please feel free if you want to download the latest Nightly version from here: https://nightly.mozilla.org/ and see if the problem can be reproduce.

Sorry, I was using Kubuntu. You're probably using gnome-www-browser and is not affected by this bug.
I'm not on linux at the moment. But I would at least like to see that firefox nightly successfully changes the value of `sudo update-alternatives --display x-www-browser` when going from **not** being the default browser to **being** the default browser, when the "Set as default" button is clicked.
