Firefox Accounts, usually though Sync, is a feature that spans numerous beasts from Firefox desktop, to email, to web content, to Android and iOS. The language we use should be consistent in copy and tone.

Please edit this first revision and assign back to me. I'll post screenshots for UX guidelines.

When in doubt, see refer to the latest (Nightly) Sync experiences in Firefox.

Is there anything specific you'd like me to review in the above? This copy looks good to me as is. It's succinct and consistent.

I only have two notes:

• Hello is shifting to be more about browsing the Web together, so when that gets finalized, we'll want to update the copy to not be about calling and conversations.

• "With only space for one call to action" — should this be "Use your Firefox Account" instead of "a"?

Ryan, do you think that MDN is the right place for this? Since the target audience is probably the future and current FxA developers, I wonder if we should put this in https://github.com/mozilla/fxa. MDN is a little more externally facing.

I probably did it in advance of Pocket. I fear that moving it to GitHub would make it harder for Matej to make updates. I don't mind it on MDN.

Ryan, who are the primary consumers of this document? For this to be useful, it needs to be part of their workflow.
Flags: needinfo?(rfeeley)
UXers for Firefox for iOS, Android, desktop and other FxA services like Hello, Pocket, etc.

No standard workflow exists across those teams, as far as I'm aware of.

I suppose it's an extension of our style guide: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/styleguide/communications/copy-tone/

Ryan, is there value in keeping this old bug alive?

No, I believe content guidelines will start appearing here eventually: https://design.firefox.com/photon/

Thanks! Closing this out then.
