I suspect something is wrong with the hardware in your phone. I cannot reproduce this with Flame or Aries and I haven't seen other reports of it.
Ok thanks! Will just close this bug. Still experiencing the issue from time to time.

Same here, ghost touch in top left zone. Experienced more and more often making the phone close to unusable... Must be hardware, you wouldn't have a MacGyver trick? Build ID: 20141016183911
