So I use Waterfox, been using Netscape & other media for about 6 months, the last 3 weeks nothing but trouble. Firefox = same problem. Finally had to start uS Edge to use Netflix. (Pretty annoying that)

problem appears to be as above, but this is a permanent condition. (at least since about 3 weeks ago)

I have WaterFox set to automatic updates, sites are clear to make changes.
I'm running W10 with the latest updates automatic.

Please help: I would like to continue using Waterfox

Did you try the steps I detailed at comment 1? Does the message not disappear after that?

Waterfox is a third-party build, not a Mozilla product. Its current version is 40.0.3 for Windows and 40.0.2 for Mac, which presumably means it's based off those versions of Firefox. That makes it two major versions behind, which includes not only features and bug fixes but security patches as well. Furthermore, there's now an official 64-bit version of Firefox for Windows: https://releases.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/latest/win64/
Thanks for that!
I had WF 40.0.2
I had FF 41.0.2
I installed FF from your link, it reports as 42.0

and it works (took 5 minutes but the plugin update actually finishes if you wait a bit)

THANK YOU GBM.
