Hello Mathjazz, We need the word count feature in Pontoon. This is especially important for contracted work, as the rate is based on word count. Without it, we can't get an accurate quote. Also there are projects that have updates at an on-going basis, such as Marketplace. We don't want to bug you with each update! The word count is needed for en-US only. Thanks, Peiying
