Details

I'd like a password health report built into Firefox. Something that flags password reuse, warns on similiarities and helps create strong passwords on demand.
Component: Security → Password Manager
Product: Firefox → Toolkit
Let me elaborate a bit here.

Beyond the obvious "show me when I'm re-using passwords": via the same mechanism we use to blacklisted addons, we could tell security-conscious Firefox that some site X had been known to have been compromised. Firefox could then notify our user who've got a saved password for that service, as well as provide password-reset links, and show people what other sites they shared that username and password with, if any.
Whiteboard: [passwords:management]
Possible duplicates:

- bug 1118553
- bug 1118558
In a world where we have an updated Saved Logins desktop experience (via Lockbox) and a convergence with Firefox Monitor, we've put together designs to accomplish what you're asking for now, and will begin work on it in Q1.
Brilliant, thank you all.
Priority: -- → P5
Depends on: 1118558, 1118553
Component: Password Manager → about:logins
Product: Toolkit → Firefox
Version: unspecified → Trunk

Mass removing [skyline] and [passwords:management] from about:logins bugs which are no longer useful.

Whiteboard: [passwords:management]
No longer depends on: 1118553

UX decided to do this directly in about:logins instead of making a separate report though we may also call these out on about:protections which is a kind of report (see bug 1587653).
