User Agent: Opera/9.80 (Windows NT 6.2; WOW64; Edition Campaign 21) Presto/2.12.388 Version/12.17 Steps to reproduce: Like in the http://devtoolschallenger.com/ I did: 1. On the dragonfish’s photophore above, right-click “inspect element.” 2. In the Rules panel, find the color property and click the color icon next to #436c6f to open the color picker. 3. Click the eyedropper icon in the color picker. 4. Click the flashlight fish’s photophore with the eyedropper to sample its color. BUT with the developer tools open in a separate (undocked) window. Actual results: The eyedropper magnifier appears but when I click on the element nothing happens (the color doesn't change). It works fine when I dock the dev tools to the window. I'm using FF Developer Edition 44.0a2. Expected results: It should work undocked... But if for some reason it cannot some feedback (error/info) would be nice.

I can confirm, the color value you click is not applied when undocked.
