Build ID: 1999082008 Platform: Windows NT (not applicable to Mac OS, not reproducible on Linux) To reproduce: - Launch apprunner - Click once on a menu to drop it down - Leave the cursor there - Press the right arrow key to select a submenu or move to the next menu to right - Press it again if necessary Results: Sooner or later, the active menu returns to the menu you originally dropped down using the pointing device. For example, if you click on Edit, and press the right arrow key, the View menu displays briefly before it disappears and is replaced by the Edit window. Expected result: Once you're using the keyboard to navigate the windows, the pointing device &c. should be ignored.

I think failing is too strong a word here, even native menus will still respond to the mouse after you use the keyboard, although they don't appear to drop the submenus on a timeout. Is there even a spec for the desired behavior? assigning to saari as p4 for m15, & cc'ing german
I agree that 'failing' is not exactly the right word. The problem is that if you use the mouse to drop down a menu, using the keyboard to navigate through the menus doesn't work as expected. I believe - but am not sure - that there may also be a problem if you dropped down the menu using the keyboard, but forgot that you had the cursor 'parked' up there over the menus. For those of us who use the keyboard and not the mouse in Windows, this is a hefty annoyance - but I'm also OK with M15. Not everyone uses the keyboard.
