there are no enrties to select on the sidebar ie bookmarks.
If tabs-Customize Sidebar is selected there are no entries in the table.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.open browser
2.Select F9 to view sidebar
3.Select Tabs on sidebar
4.there are no Default entries.

This is fixed as seen on windows commercial build 2002-01-29-06-trunk.

Sujay, I hadn't seen this on any builds since this was reported. But I never use 
F9 to open/close the sidebar.  I tested it this mornign with F9 and it works 
fine.
