We don't know how much traffic MDN is currently getting.
We need to know as many of these as possible:
- requests per second/minute/day
- average latency per request
- size and load of current database
- read/write iops?

October snapshot is pretty typical:
487k - 570k page-views per day; 400-450 page-views per minute; 1.1k back-end requests per minute
300-350ms Avg Connection Time in GA
DB is approx. 11G.
~450 queries per second, ~100 write queries per second
:cyliang - can you help me find the MDN db server load report in New Relic?

In New Relic, I think you'll want https://rpm.newrelic.com/accounts/263620/servers/5241990 and https://rpm.newrelic.com/accounts/263620/servers/5241937.

I think this is good enough for now. Will open a new bug if we need more metrics.
