build 200212708 there is no option that allows you to remove the component bar from mozilla mail. it also appears in the composition window. this should be optional. -Surojit

I don't think this is a duplicate. In Navigator, the Component Bar and Status Bar are separate. There are View > Show/Hide > Component Bar and > Status Bar menu items. In Mail, there's only a menu item for Status Bar, which always contains the Component Bar. Re-opening. This may be a dupe of another bug, but I couldn't find one in a quick search.

I guess i wasn't clear but dean understands what I was talking about with this bug... you can't remove the component bar by going to View when you're in mozilla mail.
