User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:42.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/42.0
Build ID: 20151029151421
Steps to reproduce:
I'm trying to see which version of java I have with http://java.com/sv/download/installed8.jsp and using button "Verify java version".
When we are using java applet in our site, Firfox also crashes, but to omit our site we tried the common java verification.
We are using Firefox ESR 38.4.0 swedish and running java 32-bit 1.8.0_65.
Firefox ESR 38.3.0 works OK.
Actual results:
I see the version a short time, and then Firefox crashes with a crash report. And we also sent that crash report.
Expected results:
No crash.

Thank you for the report, the issue is currently being tracked in bug 1221448. The plan is to fix this with a new Java version which should be released later this week.
