User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:40.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/40.0
Build ID: 20150807094952
Steps to reproduce:
Type in the URL of a page that takes a long time to load, after going to one that loads quickly. Now click stop before the page that takes a long time loads.
Actual results:
The URL in the URL bar reverts back to the OLD URL, erasing whatever URL I JUST TYPED INTO THE URL BAR!!!
Expected results:
When I type a URL into the URL bar, it should never change to anything else. It should always remain trying to go to the URL THAT I TYPED INTO THE URL BAR!!!

The behavior (reverting to previous url of the tab) is the same as in bug 858448, flagging as duplicate.
