Details
The product data from product-details is moving to product-details.mozilla.org in bug 1146897, but the regions data is not included in this. We should move the maintenance of the regions JSON data out of SVN as well, but I believe it's manually maintained, so github seems the obvious choice. Then we can ask webops to include these files in product-details.m.o.
We'll need this so that we can transition away from using SVN for product-details as the django-mozilla-product-details library expects the regions data to exist. Thoughts?

we can migrate it to our mozilla-l10n github org if that helps you.

We may not need to migrate it to have it included in the new system, but I figured it'd be easier to do it before requesting inclusion than to move it after and request the change, but I could be wrong. Either way I do need it in the new product-details.m.o. If we're confident that the files in SVN will stick around for a while then I'll just file a bug requesting that regions/*.json be pulled into the new host on a schedule just like the other files.

Having thought about this for a while longer I think this may be premature, or at least not a blocker for bug 1146897. So I'll file a bug to have the regions data added to product-details.m.o from SVN, then we can do this later when we can or when SVN is about to go away.
